MEP Scholarship Application

MEP Scholarship Applications are currently being accepted. Let the MEP Team know if you have any questions.

Please Note:

  1. Students have the opportunity to submit a new application each quarter if they'd prefer. 
  2. The majority of our industry-sponsored scholarships are awarded in fall quarter.
  3. Students must be paid members of SHPE and NSBE to be eligible for club-specific scholarships.
  4. In an effort to be equitable and maximize scholarship support, students will only receive one scholarship a year. MEP STAR students are not eligible for MEP Success scholarships.
  5. The MEP Team will prioritize students with urgent financial needs in our review process.

This is the 3rd GPA listed on your PolyProfile and includes all coursework taken at a higher education institution.
  
We will be taking financial need into account when reviewing applications. If you feel comfortable, please consider sharing your Financial Award Letter for this year with us. We will not share this letter with anyone and will delete it after we have reviewed applications for the year. To download the letter: 1. Log in to your Student Center. 2. Click on the View Financial Aid button. 3. Choose the correct academic year. 4. Click on the Print Award Letter button. 5. Please attach the .pdf of your award letter here.

Please submit a personal statement that is no longer than a single-spaced page and includes the following: 1. Challenges or obstacles you may have encountered before or during your time at Cal Poly that have impacted your ability to be academically successful 2. Explanation of how the scholarship would be used to address your current financial situation (please include examples)
