MEPConnect - Network with MEP Students

How does it work?

1. Available dates are selected by the MEP Team for each academic quarter. We select dates based on the timing of the quarter that we believe are best suited for optimal student attendance. 
2. Due to the pace of the quarter and our advising responsibilities, the MEP Team can only coordinate up to three MEPConnect events per quarter. 
3. Please note: Due to workload, MEP is unable to coordinate sessions during busy advising times. Our primary roles are to serve students who need our availability during these peak times.
4. To maximize student attendance, we will only host one MEPConnect event a week. 
5. Events are held Monday through Friday, must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance, and are typically up to 60 minutes long.
6. Events can be virtual (via Zoom) or in-person in the MEP Study Room. This preference can be specified in the request form below.

What is the cost?

A $250 coordination fee is put directly towards funding MEP services and MEP’s partnership with Cal Poly Cares.

What is included?

1. Coordination services (PLEASE NOTE: MEP cannot guarantee student attendance.)
2. Marketing to MEP students via two stand-alone emails, social media (MEP's Instagram), and through MEP-supported clubs (NSBE & SHPE).
3. Custom flyer
4. A list of student attendee names and emails
5. Access to our MEP Resume Database

How do I sign up?

Please sign up using our Industry Request Form.

Now accepting requests for Winter 2026 dates between January 20 - February 13.

To have time to advertise and prepare, please note this must be booked at least three weeks in advance.

Spaces may fill up. We will reserve dates based on the order that requests are received. Once your date is confirmed, we will send an invoice to reserve your spot officially.
