Personal Support

Personal support and community building is important to MEP. As a team, we strive to create a welcoming & inclusive environment through different events that we hold including our Food for Thought Series, PALentine's Day, Have a Great Summer (HAGS), and our Welcome Back Breakfast & Finals Breakfast. Resource Highlight: Campus Health & Well-Being

There are many different resources on campus to help you stay healthy, feel supported, and maintain your personal wellbeing. Cal Poly’s Health & Wellbeing Center includes access to health services, counseling services, health education, and campus wellbeing. We highly encourage you to take advantage of these services and to reach out if they are unsure where to go for emotional support or personal concerns. Please visit their site for more information.

Cal Poly cares about your basic needs (i.e. food and housing) and has compiled a list of on-campus programs designed to support these basic needs. Here is the list of these on-campus programs. 

Mentor Collective

Engineering Student Services has partnered with Mentor Collective to connect new transfer students to continuing students serving as mentors as a way for to help develop new relationships and community on campus. If you are interested in being part of the program, please contact Ashlee Burt or learn more by visiting their site.

Resource Highlight: Disability Resource Center (DRC)

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) cultivates an accessible and inclusive community where students with permanent and temporary disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of campus life. They facilitate student learning and access through partnerships with students, faculty, and staff.

Resource Highlight: Students with Dependents

If you are a student with dependents, we want you to know that we are here for you! There are many resources available to you as you navigate your time at Cal Poly.
